Full-Time Technical Support / Trainer (North Austin)

Job Description

The Account Specialist is entrusted with providing superior technical support for our global customers utilizing our electronic health record and practice management software solution. You will be responsible for providing remote technical support via telephone, email, and remote desktop programs, using problem determination and problem source identification skills to answer technical support questions ranging from basic functionality to set up and configuration.

The ideal Account Specialist uses technical, communication, and analytical skills to respond to client inquiries and work problems through to resolution. You must be comfortable with communicating at all levels, as our client contacts include computer novices, health care providers, IT professionals, and executives. You must a superior independent work ethic, excellent organizational skills, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to work well with a diverse team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has previous technical experience with software support and MSSQL or a similar database program and exhibits a positive consultative approach to resolving client issues.

Career advancement includes positions in our Training Department, which will involve traveling to locations around the world.

Desired Skills & Experience:
• Strong work ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Self-starter, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic call center.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have some experience with Microsoft SQL or other database management tools.
• Fast-learner, demonstrating a strong technical and analytical problem solving ability.
• Must be comfortable working as part of a diverse team.
• Ability to travel is necessary.
• Bi-lingual is preferred but not required.

• High School Diploma/GED required
• BA/BS degree or Associates preferred

Salary & Benefits:
This position is full time and may require some travel. Annual salary of $23,400 – $41,600, depending upon experience.
